What you can expect on the tour...

Do you want to explore the museum treasures of Belgrade, Serbia, and the region but don’t know where to start? This tour takes you through the exhibitions and collections of the city’s most important museums, tailored to your interests—whether in art, history, science, or politics.

National Museum of Belgrade
The oldest and most significant museum in Serbia, founded in 1844, houses over 400,000 artifacts spanning from prehistory to modern times. Its extensive archaeological, historical, and artistic collections illuminate the cultural heritage of both the Balkans and Europe.

Museum of Contemporary Art
Located at Ušće, across from the Belgrade Fortress, this museum—an architectural masterpiece of Yugoslav modernism—showcases art from the early 20th century to the present. It also hosts exhibitions featuring world-renowned artists.

Museum of Yugoslavia
When the country ceased to exist, the museum was born. Established in 1996, it encompasses the House of Flowers, Old Museum, and Museum of May 25th. Through personal belongings of Josip Broz Tito and the material and intangible heritage of Yugoslavia, it brings the history of both Yugoslav states to life.

Historical Museum of Serbia
Founded in 1963, today it is housed in a monumental building on Nikola Pašić Square. With a dynamic rotation of temporary exhibitions, the museum offers insights into Serbian history and statehood, from the medieval era to modern times.

Nikola Tesla Museum
The most famous Serb and one of the greatest scientists and inventors in history was honored with his own museum in 1952. Housed in the Genčić Villa on Krunska Street, it holds a collection of over 160,000 documents, artifacts, and inventions, along with interactive demonstrations of Tesla’s groundbreaking work.

Museum of Science and Technology
Located in a historic former power plant in Dorćol, this museum features over 10,000 exhibits in the fields of science, technology, and industry. With interactive displays and a dedicated children’s area, it offers an engaging and hands-on experience for visitors of all ages.
